Nightbeat, named for the seminal album by Sam Cooke is lead by local jazz stalwarts Kimba and Ryan, and brings the energy of rhythm and blues, swing, mambo and rock ‘n’ roll, featuring some of Melbourne’s brightest jazz allstars.

Kimba’s clear, true tone and light-footed touch is soaked in deep bluesy undertones in this project, and the band offers energetic, playful and danceable vibes.
